Photos, Audio, Contacts, and Location
FamilyArk may let users add photos, voice memos, contact information, or location/map details to family features.
Photos and Images:
Photos may be used for bounty proof, avatars, list images, contact photos, chat bubble images, or announcement pictures. Camera access is used only when the user chooses to take a photo inside the app. Image upload or picker features are used only when the user chooses to select an image.
Audio:
Microphone access may be used for optional voice memos or audio features, such as announcement voice memos or family communication tools. Audio is recorded only when the user chooses to use a recording feature.
Contacts:
Contacts permission may be used to let a parent or permitted family member import selected phone contacts into FamilyArk Contacts. Imported contacts may include names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, birthdays, and contact photos when available. Contacts are used to build a family-managed address book and are not sold or shared with advertisers.

Announcements, contacts, and lists may also store user-entered addresses, place names, or Google Maps links. FamilyArk does not sell location information.
Analytics and Diagnostics
FamilyArk may use Firebase Analytics or similar services to collect basic app usage, device, performance, and diagnostic information. This helps understand how the app is being used, improve features, and fix issues. FamilyArk does not use analytics data to sell personal information or show targeted ads.
Notifications and Alarms
FamilyArk may request notification, alarm, vibration, foreground service, wake lock, full-screen intent, boot completed, and battery optimization permissions or settings so family alerts and alarms can work reliably. These permissions support features such as FamilyArk alarms, reminders, announcements, updates, chat notifications, list notifications, and other family activity alerts.

FamilyArk does not share personal information with advertisers.
Information may be processed by service providers used to operate app functionality, such as Firebase, Google services, cloud storage, analytics, authentication, messaging, or backend services. Information may also be shared if required by law, to protect users, or to protect the security and operation of the app.
Children’s Privacy
FamilyArk is intended for use by parents, guardians, children, and families under parent or guardian management. Parents or guardians are responsible for creating and managing child profiles and deciding what information to enter or allow in the app.
The app may include child names, nicknames, photos, avatars, birthdays, allowance information, chores, tasks, rewards, savings goals, bounties, approvals, messages, list activity, alarm settings, contact suggestions, and related family records entered by the parent, guardian, child, or family user.
Parents and guardians should only enter information they are comfortable storing in the app and should supervise children’s use of family communication, contacts, photos, audio, and location-related features.
